Crane Compostion, Inc. was established in 1980 to service the composition needs of the publishing industry. During the following 30 years  over 14,000 different titles have been set. We have the capabilities to typeset anything from Mass Market paperbacks, children's books, cookbooks, fiction and non-fiction books containing footnotes and photos.

Today we are able to take an edited or unedited manuscript and your authors' disk, incorporate the edits if necessary, scan manuscripts that are not too heavily edited, proofread the material, and then using the QuarkXpress pagination software, paginate it in accordance with your designers' specifications. Upon completion of the correction cycle, a high-resolution, print-ready pdf file will be delivered to the printer as your final camera copy. Our pricing is very competitive, and varies according to the complexity of the work.
